What are the rules for processing personal data?

The collection, use, and disclosure of personal information, by public and private sector agencies, must comply with the 13 Privacy Principles set out in the Privacy Act.

These principles can be summarised as obligations to:

  • collect the information for a lawful purpose (only to the extent necessary for that purpose) via legal means and directly from the data subject (subject to the provided exceptions);
  • identify and communicate to the data subject the fact of collection and the lawful purpose for the collection of the information.
  • protect the information against loss, access, use, modification, disclosure and other misuse and maintain the information in such a way that the agency can confirm the existence of, correct or provide access to the information on the request of the data subject;
  • take reasonable steps to ensure that, having regard to the purpose for which the information is proposed to be used, the information is accurate, up to date, complete, relevant, and not misleading; and
  • not disclose the information unless permitted to do so by law and, in the case of disclosures to an overseas agency, only if the receiving agency is subject to similar safeguards to those in the Privacy Act.

The afore mentioned data is processed by us for the following purposes:

  • Ensuring a smooth connection set-up of the website,

  • for other administrative purposes.

The legal basis for the data processing is our legitimate interest. Our legitimate interest follows from the data collection purposes listed above. In no case do we use the collected data for the purpose of drawing conclusions about your person.

Order and customer account

For your order and/or the creation of a customer account, we need your name, address, delivery and payment data. Furthermore, we need your e-mail address for order and shipping confirmation and as identification for the customer login.

We collect, store and process this data for the purchase transaction including any warranty and for technical administration as well as for our service and marketing purposes. The legal basis for the data processing is the implementation of contractual measures. With complete execution of the contract and complete payment of the purchase price, your data will be blocked for further use and deleted after expiry of the retention periods under tax and commercial law, unless you have expressly consented to the further use of your data.

Newsletter

For sending our newsletter, we use the so-called double opt-in procedure, i.e., we will only send you a newsletter by e-mail if you have expressly confirmed this to us beforehand. We will then send you a notification e-mail and ask you to confirm that you would like to receive our newsletter by clicking on a link contained in this e-mail. For this purpose, we log the order of the newsletter, the sending of a confirmation e-mail and the receipt of the response requested herewith. No further data is collected. The data is used exclusively for sending the newsletter and is not passed on to third parties. The legal basis for the data processing is your consent.

Product recommendations by e-mail

As a customer of allyouare.nz, you will regularly receive product recommendations from us by e-mail. You will receive these product recommendations from us regardless of whether you have subscribed to a newsletter. In doing so, we use the e-mail address you provided during the purchase process to advertise our own goods and / or services that are similar to those you have purchased from us as a result of an order you have already placed. In this way, we want to send you information about products from our range that might interest you based on your recent purchases from us. The legal basis for the data processing is our legitimate interest.

 If you do not wish to receive any more newsletters from us at a later date, you can object to this at any time without incurring any costs other than the transmission costs. A notification in electronic text form is sufficient for this. Of course, you will also find an unsubscribe link in every newsletter.

 Social Plugins

Our website uses social plugins ("plugins") from various social networks. With the help of these plugins, you can share content or recommend products. The plugins are deactivated by default on our website and therefore do not send any data. You can activate the plugins by clicking on the respective button. If these plugins are activated, your browser establishes a direct connection with the servers of the respective social network as soon as you call up a website of our website.

The content of the plugin is transmitted directly from the social network to your browser, which then integrates it into the website. By integrating the plugins, the social network receives the information that you have accessed on the corresponding page of our website. If you are logged in to the social network, it can assign the visit to your account. If you interact with the plugins, for example by clicking the Facebook "Like" button or posting a comment, the corresponding information is transmitted from your browser directly to the social network and stored there. For the purpose and scope of the data collection and the further processing and use of the data by social networks, as well as your rights in this regard and setting options for protecting your privacy, please refer to the privacy policies of the respective networks or web sites.
